I am currently converting a wood smoker to an electric smoker, mainly to regulate the temp.
Parts Needed: 2- $20 temp controllers with thermocouples , a $10 Solid state relay, and a $30 Brinkmann 1500 watt electric element. (I wanted a 2nd temp. controller for a probe to insert into the meat.) I expect it can be used as a dehydrator also as I will be able to regulate the temperature exactly.
