patriots day is coming up... but a more simple message... before the alamo texan's flew a flag w/ a cannon simply stating... "come & take it"- they never did...they tried....toby says it well.... don't tread on me.... we are ,will, & always have been the best... it's a different war now... there is no pow flag to fly.....these freaks don't believe in it.pray for our brothers, sister, sons, daughters, moms, dads, uncles, aunts,...etc.... it's simply fight to win or die- no taking prisoners- and that weighs heavily on our soldiers- due to the mission an american soldier has always served under.- win the battle, protect the innocent, rebuild the town, & protect the freedom of the innocent & voiceless....that ain't the war we're in or the world we live in.... on 9/11... pray for not the service person- but pray for their family & the peopl;e that we pledged to protect....god bless freedom for all - not just america;.

Amen

I watch the political debates and I know in my heart that there are those people who oppose what we do, not out of political spite, but because they truly believe that war is not the best option. They are good people who want the best for this nation, but I think that their world view is a bit too narrow.

War is ugly. War is hell. But I stand behind our leaders for taking the fight to them on their home turf instead of waiting for it to reach us at home.

I want our men and women home as soon as possible, but I don't ever want to stand in horror watching another building fall.

God bless our men and women in uniform. Bless those who are doing the hard work of rebuilding structures and relationships. God bless those persons who innocently endure the wrath of foreign military units. Someday they will taste true freedom and will fight for it as passionately as our forefathers did. I am proud of our military for standing with them in their pursuit.

I all too well know the pain of 911, after all I watched on tv to see the planes that I helped make crash into the towers by the efforts of some degenerate lowlife looser bastards......yes, I helped make those planes, and you can never imagine the hurt that I and my fellow coworkers felt over that....ever....still pains me to this day, we never ever thought our hard work and dedication to making one of the worlds most wonderful things could ever be used in such a manner. Both that hit the towers came from my factory (767's), the other two (757's) were from down the road....(where we make the "toy" planes).......

Anything can be used as a tool for evil- OR good. You bear no responsibility for the evil of others. Weapon manufacturers must go thru this alot. I view them as simply tools. Guns, or usually planes- don't kill people. People kill people.

"Gun control is hitting your target"

Smoked Honey you had nothing to do with this evil scheme! Look at all the good those plans do! They let people see and do things they'd never get to do without them - even their visit their Mama's!

Man has an evil side and can use anthing to do harm even their own two hands.

Gypsyseagod, I was born and raised in Texas and I do know Texas history. Santa Anna took the flag for just a little while, then Sam Houston came and took it back a few months later but thats not why I'm writing this.

People have have changed from what they were thirty or forty years ago. The world has changed and we have to change with it. We all have to pay a price today for what is happening in the world. Be it good or bad.

Terrorism is here to stay, were going to learn to deal with it an an everyday basis.

God bless all of our soldiers overseas, both men and women who are putting their lives on the line everday for our freedom.

I've got one special person in my life that did his time in the middle east for your freedom and mine and I don't won't any sympthay for him or my myself but my oldest son has been in a VA Hospital since April. If every thing goes well he should be out by November, good Lord willing.

He went over there to do a job and he did it. He's proud of what did, he lost nine of his buddies over there and that was the hard part. Now he's trying to deal with it.

He's my Hero.

9-11 changed us all, it made us more aware of the countries and people around the world that hate us. Only because were successful, because we've made things work, but most of all bacause were a democracy.

JM2C's

we all know that, but it was strange, that was the first time the factory was dead silent....all day........ all of us were in shock and still can't believe it....

thank him for his service & pray for the sacrifice of his brothers in arms.
when i talked about that flag i was actually referring to the gonzales cannon which @ the last i read this year is still not found- we dumped it in the river to keep the mexican army from taking it.. the 1st shot of the texas battle for independence.

i may not be on here tomorrow.. but i plan on being awake & somewhere important remembering what i was doing around 8:15 am cst.on 9/11/2001.

lets all say a prayer whoever is up @ that time .

p.s. smoked - a history lesson.

in ww2, 2 of 3 of our torpedos were dudsup until 1943... the detonator was faulty... a pacifist by the name of thomas edison stepped up as an american(at personal request of F.D.R.) & fixed the detonators....
many cannot be blamed by the madness of a few... a determined spirit w/ a warped idea of righteousness can bring the world down. you had nothing to do w/ this... just think of how many flew on your planes to visit family, have that dream vacation,or to make a business meeting to make a better/safer product...

I'll be up, as I am every year. I lost a whole development team that I was consulting for that day. They were a subset of Cantor Fitzgerald who lost about 2/3rd of their entire corporation. I went to bed on Monday night with the expectation that we would be doing performance testing on Tuesday evening and that I would be on conference calls with them all day Tuesday. I was very lucky that I wasn't required to be in their offices that week as I had been out there a couple times before. This is a very difficult time for thousands of people who lost their innocence that horrible day. My thoughts and prayers are with them all.

never said I take any blame for what happened, it was not any of our fault who built those wonderful aircraft......it's just how we all felt to see what we made be used in such a wrong way....god help us if anyone else ever uses one of these magnificant machines in such an evil way. I grew up loving airplanes and it never surprised my parents to see me come to work for this company building such incredible machines.....I get so giddy still to this day watching them take off for the first time.......almost as much as making the perfect brisket!!!! (kinda)

At 9:02 AM on this day in 2001, our lives changed forever. A cowardly attempt to bring us to our knees, failed. The bastards may have succeeded in killing 3000 innocent people, but did not succeed in killing our spirit.

God bless the victims and their families of this horrible tragedy...

it started a little earlier then that (started around 8:52 am.....), the first to die were the pilots and flight attendants who had their throats slit by the cowards, from there the two 767's into the towers along with the 757 into the pentagon.....then there was the other 757 that the passengers would not just sit by........this will forever be burned into my memory, but more then that the amount of american flags flying outside homes afterwards will keep a better feeling alive.......those bastards used a product I helped build for evil but evil cannot prevail no matter what the evil is....
