Woke up this morning and it was -15 with a wind chil of -31*. I said nope not having it. Decided to thaw out a roast and got the crock pot going. All I do for my roast is cover it in SPOG, and pour about a quarter bottle of A1 offer it then add some carrots and cut up potatoes and cover with some more a1. I cook the carrots a little bit ahead on the stove top to make sure they’re soft and same with the potatoes I nuke them for a few minutes then just toss them in. Cook it till 205* Really easy recipe and turns out nice and juicy. Enough talk here are some pictures. Thanks for looking

Looks really good from where I'm sitting. We're pretty much in the same boat weather wise.

Point for sure

Here in NH wind chill on Mt Washington set a record besting the one in 1885.
Hit -105. Stay warm. Supposed to hit 50 next Thursday, gotta love New England weather.

A1 like the steak sauce? Now thats on the "gotta try" list.
And all that needs is a big chunk of home made bread to top it off!
