Originally from NW Washington State, moved to Idaho in 1996.
Purchased my first smoker about 4 years ago from Cabela's, a Mastercraft vertical propane. Have really enjoyed it and need to make a few more alterations to get it just right.
I use my own rub, and have several sauces I enjoy. Still need to work on smoking brisket. Just got a used vertical off-set smoker from a friend. Haven't used one before, will need to do some research.
Really enjoy this site, all the experience and recipes, looking forward to being part of the group again.
