Hello
I put a deposit on a 24x48 horizonantal. And I was curious on others opinions of the double door vs. single door for the main chamber. Any input or in sight from experience would be greatly appreciated.

Hello.  I hadn't heard of that company.  Been away from Tx. now almost 15 yrs.  Took a look at the website and the 24x48.  They do some FINE work!  A little pricey but isn't everything now a days?  That 1/4" pipe door will be heavy.  IF it were counter weighted I'd say go for 1 door.  If you are gonna open the CC chances are you want to get to both sides so 1 door just saves a little hassle.  The 2 door vs 1 door won't affect the performance of the smoker so long as neither door leaks.  From the way the smoker it built will be easy to make a door gasket from high temp silicone should it be needed.  Watching the video, it looks like you will be well pleased with your new smoker.  Be sure to post some Q-views when you get 'er goin.  Keep Smokin!
