I've been waiting a long time to make this post.  I thought my first 20# tank of propane was never going to end.

After seeing post that Pops gets 17 hours out of a tank from his uninsulated wooden smoker and seeing other posts ranging from 40-55 hours per tank I was figuring on getting around 50 hours on mine.

I finally ran out today smoking a couple of Fattys.

Total burner hours on my first 20# tank was 113.75 hours.  Average smoker temp was 240-250 deg and average outside temp was 30 deg.

Smoker is a 1930's Servel fridge build with a Gassmoker.com C-Burner.  Good insulation must make a major difference in efficiency.

That makes smoking less expensive.... Good info...   I copied that site for others if they need it....

I have a brand new tank to put on this weekend.  I am going to do a log for the SV and see how long it lasts too.  Costco here I can get refill's for $9.99 and that is cheap to me!
