working on getting up to speed with smoking, so thought I would try some jerky.  Followed the steps in the thread "My First Beef Jerky Step by Step (Q-View)", but didn't have the soy, so substituted some A-1 steak sauce.  Threw them on the Outers electric (in the hot sun, so didn't use any electric) and some mesquite and waited about 7 hours.  The temp was kinda hard to keep under control with the clouds, and had the AMAZN jump a row (my fault), but turned out good with my blunders...some pics

Man this smokin is addictive.  I only did 1.5 lbs, but can quickly see I need to do more (and get a bigger smoker)

You better get another batch going, cause I don't think that will last too long! It looks great!
