Hey guys. I did my 2nd pulled pork last night from 730pm - until 930am this morning. Overall a 14 hour smoke. I had my iGrill sitting right by me in bed with temp alarms if needed. I used a 8.5lb pork picnic with bone in, used my own rub, SPOG, cayenne, and paprika and oregano because I love it!! I let the meat speak for itself this time - no spraying with apple juice/rum, and no foiling. Check out the pics. I also uploaded a pic of the iGrill graph so you can really see the stall in this one, pretty cool to see a visual of it. Let me know guys!!

My Rub in order front to back: oregano, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, kosher salt, cayenne pepper

Out of the smoker after 14 hours, ready to take a foil nap

First pull, pretty pretty.

a la smoke ring!!!!

Nice and juicy too!

Ok now here is the time lapse graph. You can click on it to make it bigger where you can see the times and stuff.

CHECK OUT THAT STALL FROM ABOUT 1230a - 430a. Pretty cool to see it all laid out. The dip at 530 was me being nosey and cutting the flame back a bit to about 250˚ . Thanks for looking!!!

Nice looking pork! I'm slowly coming to the realization that less is more when it comes to the meat! I'm smoking the meat for...well...the meat and the smoke, very little else! While I love me some spices and spicy food, that's not exactly what low-n-slow is about!

I love the iGrill...one of my next purchases...that's so awesome you can track the whole cook, watch the stall and save and compare. While I know some of the old skool folks know by almost touch/feel alone, I am not one of those masters! I currently have a spread sheet magnetized to my smoker and I right down time, grill temp and food temp. I can make a graph in 'NUMBERS' but the iGrill does it all simultaneously!

Oh yeah!  Great job!!!

That is very neat to see the graph of the stall.  The bark on that pork butt looks rediculously good!!!

Thanks for sharing.

That looks incredible! Never heard of the igrill, but it sounds great, I'm gonna have to check it out.
it's a great product! it has of course two temp probes, then uses bluetooth to sync to your iPad where you have access to loads of functions from a free app in the app store!!! I love it, it's sooo handy!

Thanks Bill. I thought the stall was really cool to visualize too. I was in LA LA land at that point... haha, but it's still interesting to note what the meat goes through!!!

LOL, "what the meat goes through"...we have no idea!

Great job!!!

How many iGrills can you sync to your iPad or iphone at the same time? What is the range? Can you print reports? Is it Bluetooth or WiFi? I know I can go to the site, but I like to hear real feedback. not the fluff and stuff put out by Apple....

You can sync one igrill per device apple or andriod. Range of about 200 feet! You can for sure print reports. You can export to .pdf or .csv or an excel file. It's a Bluetooth connection. Honestly it's on of the coolest devices I've purchased and I don't even have to go outside anymore to check on things. This makes it really easy. The igrill costs I think $80 but there is always a special where you get a $20 Omaha steak voucher or some $$ off.

Thank you for the info...... I will have to wait till you can do multiple syncs...... What I am looking for is the ability to track multiple food items for HACCP purpouses.......
