hi everyone, ? about heat stabilazation,would it be better to use sand in the water pan in the winter to hold heat a little  better than water. or am i full of bolonga

Some say sand some say water someone just had a thread useing pea gravel. The is what works for you, experiment.

Try them both and see which one you like better. I have been using sand now for about 2 years.

Sand will hold the heat better in cold weather. I saw the pea gravel thread too & may give that a try.
