    Smoking pork butt a week ahead of party

    I was going to make my pulled pork a week in advance of the party I am having. Anybody else ever done this? If so how did you save it? I was figuring on freezing it in 1 gallon freezer bags? Any help would be appreciated.

    AMNPS placement in an MES 40

    Anybody ever placed their AMNPS on the drip pan at the very bottom? I am wanting to smoke 6 pork butts and some macaroni and cheese. With that much the AMNPS will not fit on any of the grates. Any help would be appreciated.

    MES 40 internal Temps.

    I got my Maverick ready check digital thermometer today. I am checking the internal temps of my electric smoker. I have found that the top rack gets way hotter than the bottom rack. Almost 30 degrees warmer. When I set it to 250. The top rack gets to 250 and the display on the smoker says...

    Only second try at smoking first try at baby back ribs

    2 whole chickens on my 40" MES First try!

    Just put two whole chickens on! This is my first attempt at smoking. So far the AMNPS is smoking well. I will post pics of the finished product good or bad. Thanks for all the great tips.

    New Indiana smoker

    Hi everybody my name is Lance and I am a beginner. Have never tried smoking meat, but I have wanted to start trying for the last few months. Just got a new Masterbuilt 40" electric smoker for Father's Day. Glad I found this site seems like a great place for info.
