    You might want to check with your city ordinance department and see if it's legal since you could create a real fire hazard. I would recommend building a plywood smoker using Pop's plan.

    We do pulled pork in the crock pot quite often using a pork loin and a can of root beer - nothing else. It's awesome and no hassle on a rainy day.

    I own a BGE and it is truly awesome - set it up - walk away - return - eat! I own other smokers but I always return to the BGE for my best results.

    For the money you couldn't go wrong with either Wolfgang Puck or Emeril Lagasse cookware. I own both and they work just fine.

    I think Todd's products are truly amazing and so is his customer service. A year or so ago I ordered the 6"x6" and he was out of stock - he shipped the 6"x8" so I wouldn't be waiting!! In a world where customer service is somewhat lacking, Todd goes above and beyond! I wish we could clone him...

    Help me get off the fence and buy a smoker

    I would bite the bullet and cough up $1000 for a large BGE with all of the attachments. It's not "set it and forget it" but real close. Load it up with charcoal, dial in the temp, walk away. Makes awesome ribs and pork butt!
