We recently ran a test with several different commercial rubs on country style ribs and Jeff's was always either number one or two. Great flavor and color without a boatload of paprika. Going to be trying the brisket rub soon. Been smoking meats for over 10 years and this is good stuff.
Been playing with mine for a couple of months. Very fuel efficient, although mine is fussy about lump if I try to run it at 225. Smoke is better than my traeger, but still pretty mild. Right now it’s my go to smoker for just the two of us.
Going to do some CS ribs on the Akorn Auto-kamado tomorrow. Did a small batch last week (sorry, no pics) trying out 3 different rubs. Wife pronounced them all good and the ones with Jeff's rub as 'delicious'.
Greetings to all! Retired and living in Minnesota where right now it’s beautiful :-) I have been involved in this addiction for about 10 years and keep buying different kinds of smokers. Most recently I added a Chargriller auto Kamado which I am learning to use. Have a happy and blessed memorial...
