    Canadian Mountain Ash Wood

    Hello all, I have a local guy I'm getting wood from for my smoker. He mixed in some Mountain Ash, he says.. he also says it is fine for smokers. Just wanted to see if the group here has any thoughts.. added a pic of the pile for reference to see if it actually is Mountain Ash as I looked it up...

    Thermo Pro TP920

    Looking at possibly ordering this Thermo Pro TP 920 from Amazon for my new smoker. It has 2 probes.. i would use 1 for meat and other for smoker temperature. Any thoughts or recommendations before I pull the trigger? Amazon TP920
