So here is an update. Got the doors done, FB vent done, 1 of 2 cooking grates done, chimney done. Decided to go with 4x6 thin walled pipe. Still have a lot to do but really wanted to get some fire rolling in it
I wanted the extra height on the FB so I could cut a lid and make a grilling/searing area. What thickness did you use on yours. This is 3/16. I’ll update some photos tomorrow
Made some headway and got it mounted to the frame. Next step is doors and a chimney. Don’t mind the messy barn. Brought it to a family members house much closer to home. Again ignore the welding (I have a ton of grinding to do)
