I just ordered a Misen Carbon steel as well. Wife can’t handle the weight of CI. I had some cheaper carbon steel I found at TJMaxx several years ago, but think they disappeared when we got the induction and GreenPan set. 😔
I wish someone else in the family likes them. So good seared with bacon.
Yes, will try again, maybe a few times like CI
Yeah, will season again.
Have the most sticking trouble with pancakes, maybe just not enough oil in the mix and on the griddle.
Our princess lab will not eat pill pockets nor other suggestions. Always still left naked in an empty bowl. I have gotten her to take them in a chili cheese dog, or crushed with a liberal dose of pulled pork/liquid.
Definitely not a normal dog.
Alright,help me out guys.
I bought a griddle to replace a GreenPan that seemed to stick a lot.
I’ve not had any better luck with the HC.
I always pre-oil, keep at med to med-hi (induction), it does not heat evenly across the griddle.
What should I do differently?
Mine wanted me on a plant-based diet. They say you are what you eat, and pigs only eat plants, so they count as plant-based.
He was not impressed with my logic. 😁
I’m the oddball that doesn’t like mayo and oil/vinegar, mustard, etc. so I like whole leaf for protecting the bread from tomato juice while also providing some additional moisture to the sandwich.
But on my Italian subs I got in the habit of green peppers and spinach when I was on the road and...
Nope. Unwrapped to 160 , wrapped after that.
But I do it different for al pastor … a marinade and braising liquid with pineapple, OJ, and several other ingredients.
They’re already gone/tossed
That was the first jam last fall, not this time
These two auger jams only problem in 3+ years. And yeah, had a Weber, but at this age and health status just need something easier.
Maybe. I really think it was the older Weber pellets I added, because I noticed a lot of tan color sawdust in the barrel of the smoker after the second cook. The first one went fine with just char hickory.
In any event, I have counseled my SIL to stick with Bear Mt hard/fruitwoods or Lumberjack...
