Never have tried forcing a cat to take a pill, but I'd be wrapping it up in a towel like a burrito before attempting it.

I used to use an old pillow case. But that in itself, was quite a task.
They're not as forgiving as a dog. They'll show their displeasure with you in a variety of ways, later.

We used to leave "Kitty" with various house sitters that she tolerated. This was a very short list.
This was supposedly my wife's cat. However when we returned from vacation Kitty was ok happy with my wife. She was very happy with my return but got inserted with the hiss and growl to remind me not happy with my leaving

Just one of the many reasons I refuse to have a cat.

Our dogs we can find a way but the cats? No way. They're just too strong and have extra digits on them paws with razor like claws. My cats, It's shots or in there food.

Those pill pockets look pretty cool. I'd use em for the dogs.

Our princess lab will not eat pill pockets nor other suggestions. Always still left naked in an empty bowl. I have gotten her to take them in a chili cheese dog, or crushed with a liberal dose of pulled pork/liquid.

Definitely not a normal dog.
