When you say one big link so you mean it's stuffed in a big summer sausage style casing like this?
Or do you have it stuffed in one long brat style casing and you just haven't tied them off into individual links yet like this?
Either way if you are going to be smoking them you really...
My wife's family was suppose to come to our house for Christmas last Friday night but the weather didn't cooperate and they weren't able to make it. The weather did however clear up on Saturday and we got a call saying they were on there way. CRAP!!! I've got to get these rib roasts going after...
Hmm that's a good question. My only concern would be if you pull it at 130 will it continue to cook past the point you want it? I think it might be fine at that temp but I just don't know. If you pull it at 130 I wouldn't think it would clime past 140 so you should still have a nice pink center...

To make a long story short, yes you can use any type of pellets in the tube smoker. But not all pellets are created equal. They may not burn as well. Todd would be able to comment on this subject much better than I would.
Man that is an awesome meal. I've done quite a few prime ribs for my inlaws the past few years but I am really excited to make one for them over Labor Day and I'm going to use Tatonka Dust now what I have some on hand. If the Tatonka Dust tastes as good on prime rib as it does on steaks (why...
My brother and his girlfriend were in town this past weekend and I've been telling my brother about Tatonka Dust and Tri Tip's for a while now so I decided it was time for him to try one.
I did my regular routine of covering it with Accent and T-Dust and letting it sit in the fridge for a few...
