New Info on whats in Traeger Pellets
Hi guys, this whole pellet conversation has been intriguing. I know a little about wood and ash, and the temp. difference and fine ash is indicative of oak. the BTU's in oak are going to be higher than fruit woods and burn much cleaner than other woods as the nut and fruit woods naturally...- snyderman

Has anybody heard of HQ Fabrication Smokers?
I'm in Iowa and have not heard of them. I do know a thing or two about welding though, and the smokers shown are done well. the drain could be messy to clean but I like it. the expanded metal all looks good and the damper on the stack is done well. I'm not sure of the pricing, but what's not to...- snyderman

Hi folks, thanks for all the tips and info so far. I'm new to smoking, and will be using a hand me down Traeger, not sure what model but it's old and not digital. I've given up almost every vice I ever had so to keep my man card, I'm getting into smoking meat and grinding coffee. Looking forward...
