    Newbie from PA

    So I bought the wide body from Amazon.... Should be here Weds. I also bought some silicone and nomex tape. Should I use just the silicone or the tape for between the firebox and smoke chamber?

    Welcome to the site. I'm pretty new here too. What type of smoker did you get? Pork Picnic/Butt/Shoulder is all pretty forgiving. My first smoke, I found some cheap ribs and did that.

    I usually just smoke for myself and brother... Nothing too extraordinary. I think that I'm going to go with the wide body, bigger is better right? My thoughts are, I can always cook under the dimensions, but never over the dimensions
