So this weekend was unseasonably warm in SW PA, after having 24" of snow the weekend before, so I decided it was time to season this bad boy.

I planned on a few minor mods (tape and silicone) but that is about it.
Got all of the pieces unboxed and laid out....The cooking chamber is HUGE.
The overall build went quick and was very easy.

So I bought the wide body from Amazon.... Should be here Weds.
I also bought some silicone and nomex tape. Should I use just the silicone or the tape for between the firebox and smoke chamber?

What type of smoker did you get?
Pork Picnic/Butt/Shoulder is all pretty forgiving. My first smoke, I found some cheap ribs and did that.
I am a firm follower of the 3-2-1 method.
I like to foil mine after 3 hrs with some squeeze butter and brown sugar for 2 hours, then 1 hour out of the foil
I'm am IPA guy...
My favorite go to beer is Nugget Nectar from Troegs.
Just had Ninja vs Unicorn from Pipeline Brewing and it was awesome.

I usually just smoke for myself and brother... Nothing too extraordinary.
I think that I'm going to go with the wide body, bigger is better right?
My thoughts are, I can always cook under the dimensions, but never over the dimensions
