Momma Bear wanted BBQ for Mother’s Day so I made Brisket but also tried my hand at Burnt Ends. They took about 5 hrs total 3 hrs smoke, added B Sugar, Butter and Honey for another hour and a half. Made a glaze to finish em off. I was pleased with the outcome. Meat candy makes sense now.

Fired up the smoker yesterday and smoked 2 racks of Baby Backs for the family. Followed the 3-2-1 method using Applewood chunks. Turned out really good. Code3 Spices Grunt Rub, added Honey and Brown Sugar in the foil wrap. Juicy, tender fall off the bone goodness.

Smoked a Boston Butt 14 hours ~225 and a Beef Brisket for 9. Injected and marinated 3 days. Rubbed with Code 3 Spices Grunt Rub. Great day and absolutely love doing this. Shared at a family gathering yesterday. Happy Labor Day all

Fired up my smoker last night and smoked a Boston Butt and Beef Brisket. I injected the brisket and put on rub Friday Night. It was a 8lb brisket. Smoked for 7 hours over Hickory chunks. Rested an hour then cut into strips. Tasty meal with the family today. Here's a few pics.
