Everything was on the quick...
8 chicken quarters
Marinated in Apple Cider Vinegar for 3 hours.
Rubbed with McCormick Apple Wood Rub (I know store bought, but I had to use what I had to use)
Sit in Fridge for one hour.

OK! I went with chicken quarters...can get a good 3 hour soak in apple cider vinegar, let rub sit for an hour, then on to the smoker. Thanks for the input guys!

OK....I've done no prep...no brining, no rub sitting on meat overnight, nothin' it's getting close to midday...
What can I run out and go get and prep and get smoking for tonight! Help! Quick! Suggestions?

Hey Bill! Just brought it home this week. The class did four butts on it their last night of class to "make sure it worked"! It did!!! Holds a really good temp, and smokes like a chimney (I guess that's what it's supposed to do).
Hey, again, guys! I posted in Roll Call a year ago when I was smoking on my Weber Genesis grill...since that time, my name came up on the project list for the welding class at school and I've just brought home "MY" smoker....
I'm from Upstate SC (Anderson)...and grill about 4 nights a week...
The director of the Welding Department traded me the latches (was going to have to pay about $18 ea.) for the big burner...so it washed out for me in the end.
Update 7/26/13...now with Q-View!
Had the cookout for the welding class last night! Four butts on the smoker! This is their last class and they receive their certificates next Friday and then go get a job!
