    4th of July smoke

I've got a trimmed brisket and a couple of slabs of rib to smoke Sunday. My question is would it be alright to rub with my seasoning and wrap tonight to cook starting Saturday night with the brisket and ribs Sunday or should I freeze after seasoning. They were not frozen when I bought them so I...

    Weekend roll-call - whats smokin'?

    Drum Clean-Out????

    Drum Clean-Out????

JUST MY THOUGHTS!!! I'd rinse it a few times with soap and water, let it sit a few hours full, drain it and refill overflowing with water, then cut. That way you have no space for any vapors or fumes to accumulate, should be ok; IMHO.

    BBQ Television Show ???

I personally think it would be great for Food Network to have a show dedicated to the art of smoking meats. The only thing is I hope if they do start a series that they put a host that has the knowledge of smoking meats and not just an actor like some of their shows. I nominate Jeff as host!!!!!
