    New guy from Hawaii

Aloha, I'm a fellow native Hawaiian here, now living in Florida and Arizona 1/2-1/2. P.S. I once smoked a Chicken using Koa and it was just like mesquite, delicious.

My new mini Tailgater sized Smoker

Noticed your from Central Florida. My wife and I stay in Pinellas County half the year, so I built a little RV porch smoker here in Florida. The afternoon rains lately seem to make the meat taste better.

    RV park porch build

Hahaha, sweet builds. Yeah I started with big trailer builds and have slowly worked in reverse over the years to smaller builds. My first build was a 80 gallon tank deal, that I built like your meadow Creek style black smoker. Your copper smoker looks like it took a while to build.

    RV park porch build

That's sweet. Take a look at some of my other builds if you can access my uploaded media. This is my first cook on this smoker after building it, each build seems to have their own quirks and character about the way they cook. My latest cooks quick, gets to temp fast, and pretty much stays...

Thanks. This is my first time smoking meat down here in southwest Florida. I do most of my smoking in Arizona, but this year we are doing 6 mos in Arizona, 6 mos in Southwest Florida.

    RV park porch build

I've built smokers using a tig, and a few with migs, but this one I only had access to an old Lincoln tombstone buzz stick welder.

    RV park porch build

This is a smoker I built using two air tanks. It's another mini smoker I built while at the RV resort in Florida. Should fit on the back of the fifth wheel and we'll try out a pork butt this Sunday. I slathered the inside with bacon grease and did a dry burn to season it. Can't wait to try it...

    New guy from Hawaii

Aloha Nui' Fellow BBQer and Smoker from Arizona here! I heard Koa smokes and tastes just like mesquite wood.? My Great Great Grandfather was the very first Native Hawaiian to get permission from the King and become a US citizen in 1873. My grandmother's have told me he used to grill nearly...

    Little grill build

Built this little 19" x12" grill from an old air tank. It's a vintage tank so was a little thicker than the newer air tanks. I had to make the grate to fit, but works great and acts somewhat like an oven. I'm thinking it may need some air holes on the front lower area that are capable of...
