Anyone figured out a good way to use a smoke tube in a gas smoker.....?  Always seems to go out....not enough air or something.......!

Anyone else use these....I bought one at Wally World, one at another home store and one at a garage sale....they wouldn't fit any of my smokers (too wide) until I got my MES 40".....great for taking everything out of the smoker quickly and they don't impede the flow of the smoke.....!    RICK

Has anyone figured out if we can post multiple pics with this new format like we used to be able to do or are we back to one pic at a time (Uugh !). ?.........RICK

FINALLY!!! got to try out my new MES.....managed to get it seasoned the day after I bought it, but then it rained and rained......Got to love that 1200 watt element.....absolutely no problem with getting and keeping it smoking.....temp only varies plus or minus approx 5 degrees...recovery after...

KUDOS to the new look and I'm sure I will learn to navigate it all in just a manner of time.....I especially like the new "Search"....which I'm sure everyone will appreciate....makes it really easy to find stuff.....!!!                                  RICK

I have in the past calibrated my temp probe on the smoker cabinet to be pretty close to my ET 73 readings.....lately it is starting to fluctuate from a good reading or a match with the ET 73... My question is....has anyone found that the build up of grease and whatever on the probe is effecting...

Remember reading that an alternate method of smoking was to smoke already cooked food.....this was done of course by cold smoking....I'm talking meat.....has anyone done or practices this ??? Rick
