    College Football Opening Weekend ---- What's on the menu?

    Well, I have a brisket to smoke, gotta pick up a couple of pork butts, the cold smoker is ready to roll, so cheese, get the bellies started to cure.  Not sure what else I may find when I go shopping Friday.  Oh, yeah a comere to replace the one on strike.  Good smokin' to all!  Steve

    Looks good,  I like bb ribs, they are the best.  I have a problem getting the membrane off too.  I smoke them meat up, and usually the membrane is pretty much gone when they are done.  Steve

    BACON  That is the best thing to cold smoke.  also sausage can be cold smoked.  Both of these have to be cured first, of course.  Steve

    vacuum savers ?

    I also have a Food Saver, and I agree it is wonderful.  We use it for everything.  And the bags and rolls that lisa sells are well below the price I have found them anywhere else.  Check them out.  I got mine at K-Mart on sale for 69 bucks on sale reg price 89 bucks.  Hope this helps.  Steve
