    Sandblasting should remove the rust. To prevent it? Wouldn't have a clue other than getting the outside parkerized. Quite expensive I'm sure and might not hold up to the heat.

    For a wet cure, how much prague powder should be added to a gallon of water? I can easily find the ratio of powder to meat, ( 1t/5lb of meat) , but I need to know how much per gallon of water.

    Well, it's like cherry or apple pie, only it has a raisin filling instead. Eaten it all my life. The recipe came from my grandmother many, many years ago.
