    i picked up a 7.5 pound pork shoulder Boston But from walmart today, with 2 slabs of beef back ribs...never done beef ribs before, never even had them...so well see how it turns out...only took a picture of the one pork shoulder...

    I screwed something up....badly.

    one thing that i did with my smoke n pit when i made my baffle. take the charcoal pan in the bottom of the smoke chamber if you still have it, and raise it above the hole where the smoke and heat comes through to the smoke chamber...worked like a charm for me...also to fill any holes from warmer...

    what if he cooked them the whole time in the foil, and then for the last 30 minutes cook them on the grate with no foil? it would steam the ribs with the juices, and then kinda stiffen them up at the end

    ok when smoking brisket to make burnt ends, is it a good idea to cut the cap off the flat, and smoke it seperate from each other?  because next time i make some baked beans i want to put some of the smoked brisket in with the beans...or should i smoke it as a whole piece of meat?
