Yeah, I definitely like the styling on the new Chevy's as opposed to the Ford's. The dealership I went to also won my business by being what I felt was genuinely honest. I went to Ford, Toyota, Nissan, etc and felt like they were all hosing me on price. Chevy came out of the gate with an initial...
He might have better luck in NW Indiana. Lots of industry, a huge arcelor mittal plant, and a huge bp refinery...our subcontractors have a hard time finding enough guys from the union halls because bp and arcelor mittal have so many workers tied up.

...a new truck. I've had F-150's prior, but I just liked the new Chevy better. Got a great deal on a leftover 2010 LTZ crew cab. The thing is loaded with every imaginable option. Couldn't beat the deal, so I thought I'd give GM a shot. So far I love it.
I'm not complaining...I LOVE snow. It's so peaceful after it snows. Everything is quiet, and the trees are beautiful to look at. I just stay off the roads and work from the house. I lived in San Diego for a year (2008-2009) and missed the seasons (as nice as San Diego was!!).
Yeah, still pretty messy around here. I live out in an unicorporated area of town so the roads are still not the best. I took a drive around in my wife's 4x4 earlier and almost ended up in the ditch. Hopefully they get it cleared up a bit more by morning.
Here's a few more pics...
Post up some pictures of the snow you got. This is at my house. About 35 miles SW of Chicago.

Looks like I'm going to be doing some splitting in my near future. Can't complain though, as I got it free from a coworker trying to get rid of it. She happened upon it free as well from a woman who didn't want to pay a tree company to haul it away. My coworkers husband is a craftsman, and he...

I have to say, the cookie plant I was doing work at down there had whole graveyard of used cylindrical vessels, and it was a food plant, so they were all food grade type stuff...too bad the economy of bringing something back like that wouldn't be worth the effort!! I could build all kinds of...
Sorry for the delay, been busy with all the travel lately.
Here's a link to the album of all my pics from Chile.

Well, I've been down in Santiago, Chile since yesterday for work. I've had two AMAZING steaks so far. If anyone knows of anything interesting to do here, or places to eat, post up! Below is a shot of the Virgin Mary atop Cerro San Cristobal which we visited yesterday. Very cool. We rode a...
