just got off phone with my son robert....he is at his friends house now....he broke only his right leg femur
bone in the middle of the bone, has big ol hunk of titan in there now....hurt his knee as well on same leg,
nothing else was hurt....him and his buddies were coming around a curve and...
thx again guys....he is having surgery today to mend his leg and hip....so far haven't heard anything since last night if anything else is going on, so that's good news as of now........bob

thx, his wife called and said he just broke his leg and hip....no other real pain else where right now....had his helmet on....him and his buddies were coming up to an accident....he went to slow down and he just lost control of his bike, gravel on road or hit his brakes to hard not sure...
just got a call my son just had a motorcycle accident and is on the way to hospital in ambulance with broking leg and woke up from being out....not much is known at this time and only can see his leg was broke....please guys send some prayers, thank you all...........bob

yeah i found out that if you cut it in bout 3" thick slices off a log it is easier to split....once slpit it is the size chunks we use in smokers....i had smow body give me some hickory already split into bout 2" to 3" splits that i cut into 3" pieces with my miter saw for bout 3" x 3" blocks...
no i know not to use insta cure as table salt....the picture of the canning salt i posted....i found a site and got 1 lb of insta cure for just over 13 bucks shipped that will do 480 lbs meat, thx dan.........bob

i can't find insta cure local and only online at 5.99 for 8 oz but then the total with shipping/handling charges brings it to 15.00 bucks....seen a forum that someone said they bought it at a walmart super center by the salt....went there and no insta cure, went to housewares and looked by the...
i made 8 lbs of venison into 3 3/4 lbs of jerky after true cold air drying....i don't worry much bout weights before and after as i still get the same amount of peices i cut up for it.........bob

you can use 24.5" x 24.5" avg from the 21" x 28" as your guide line for tank dia....it might be excat but closer to what you have with 21 x 28.........bob
