Looking for help with the inside of fire box. the out side I am going to sand a prime then put high heat paint. My question is after I get the rust off of the inside how do stop it from coming back. Do i coat it with oil or what
looking foe any help on how to smoke salmon I have a mes. Do you use the wood planks and what type of wood do you use for smoke. I would like to smoke it hot. Any help would be welcomed
Started out this morning smoking a shoulder around 7 it is now 9 the shoulder is at 170 but the spare ribs I did were well liked trimmed to st louis style wife ate the other meat and my daughter and I ate the rest.The fat from the shoulder really gave the ribs some flavor. will post pics late
Smoking spare ribs and a pork shoulder, which should I smoke first the reibs or the shoulder the ribs will be for dinner and the shoulder will be made into bq for a family member any thoughts.
Was doing a search and saw where back in 07 smf did a competition where the new members got to send in pics of there meat and won prizes. Just wondering if this is going to be done again.
I have a MES. I used to soak the chips but after reading various posts have stopped. I do not know if I am adding to much chips or not enough. The problem is that they do not turn to ash. They look like burnt wood chips. Is this what they should look like?
