The way the track is now we may get the eye wall on the dirty side. Gonna be rocking & rolling tonight. The damn wobble is just maddening. No matter the final track, we’re gonna get hammered. Won’t be the first time! Hope I’m back on here in the morning, but I doubt if we will have any internet...
Thanks Jerry, but I think we will be OK here. We have the shutters up, and a whole house gen, with 500 gallon propane tank. Everything is tied down & no worries for flooding at our elevation. The wait is the worst part.
Thanks for thinking of us!

Now they are saying Cat 5. I have about half our stuff secured, will do the rest in the morning. Keith, I’m praying it doesn’t go North of you, that would be the worst case scenario for you. Even if it goes below you, I think the way it’s going we still will be on the worst side.

Good luck Keith!
After Milton is done with you, it looks like he is going to mess with us, were are gonna get another eye come directly over us AGAIN!!
I don’t mind the prep work, it’s the cleanup after that sucks!

Good luck to all of you up there, but as Keith said it can always veer one way or the other. I think this is the first year in a while that we haven’t been hit by something. Season’s not over yet!

The reason they are dry is that thick piece of meat on top is part of the loin, which will dry out above 145 IT. So I try to buy ribs with less meat on top, and if there is excessive loin on it, I slice it off & save for stir fry. Hope this helps.

Glad to hear your Mother is at peace & was living a great life with you & Tracy, then her new home & friends. You made the last year of her life the best. You deserve a great retirement!

Sorry to hear that John, prayers sent. Had a similar situation on my face close to my nose. They do Moh’s surgery. If the surgeon is good there won’t even be a scar. They took a chunk out of my face about the size of a pencil eraser. They check it to see if they got all the cancer, in my case...
