I have to say dinner came out great last night. I did not eat till a little after 7:30 with 13.5 hours of smoking. I have to say the pork was great but they sauses just made it. I just could not belive the taste. I also did the beans off of this site and for over 2 hours had then cooking...

The Cowboy is what I get at my local stores. They are the only ones up by me no matter who I go to. The stuff burn great. When you buy the 20lb bag you get some big hunks. Had about a 2+ft long peice of hard wood flooring on one bag. I have to say a lot of the oak is hardwood flooring.
Well went to pick up some suppies for Saturday's pork and I found a digal probe one for about $10. Nice part is that it has a holder with a magnetic back so I can just have in right on the lid. At least no more having to worry about opeing it to see the temps or get them.
This is the number one reason when we built our deck we have a section were the smoker is that is tiles over cement board. and is about 10 feet from the house that is brick. That way if I am grilling, smoking, or frying I am on a service that is not flamable but I am still out or nice large deck.
Mine is all metal for the internals. I have had it for a few years so I no longer have the box. The clear cover though I am not sure if it glass though. I will have to check.
After seeing the outhouse idea it has me thinking when I get working on the 2nd tear and 3rd maybe I could find a way to build a smoker into the look of it. The fire box is what I can not figure out. I want to build a bar area and I think it would be cool to have part if it be the smoker its self.
Well this is getting added to my pulled pork on Saturday. Just wish I could get some fresh corn to smoke. O well Pulled pork, this, and a Saturday night NASCAR race what can be better.
Yea check ACE hardware. My local one had 20lb bags on sale for $6.99 each.
Man right now it would take me about 20 years to go through that 2500. I have to sayt that is not that good a deal. I would only save about $100 compared to ACE.
I had a little set back for making my pulled prok. I wanted to get a wireless thermometer but the one store qouted me wrong on the phone and the cheapest one I can find right now is the Webber for $35 plus tax. I think I will have to e-bay for a better deal. Well the best Thermometer I have...
I would like to know how much ate per the weight. Even if they gave the rat was about a 3lb one and they gave it 1oz of the burn part for us that would meen we would have to eat about 4lbs of it at a meal if you weighed 200 lbs. I have to say yea I have realy chard stuff on the grill before...
I did ask when I was there and I found out that they get all of theirs pre packaged. I found out unlike the Sam's I had down in MO they have not butcher or anything in site. I have 10 weeks before I go down to MO again to see some old college friends and thanks to the help on this board I am...
I have to say I was pissed with I went to Sam's yesterday with their Brisket. They wanted $3 a lb and the briskets were no more then a inch thick. The top fax was paper thin. I do not even think you can smoke that. When I asked were they had a real brisket at they just said that is all they...
Well thanks for the replies. Today I went to Sams and picked up a Boston Butt cut of Pork . This Saturday I am going to try the " Pulled Pork Recipe for all" by Johnh. I have to say after reading it I finaly felt good trying it. It has the right details that I needed to fill in the spots...
I also have the Pitmaster Deluxe but I am not getting these mods that have to be done. I just can not picture it right. Does anyone have a picture of these mods done to one? I just can not figure them out.
Thanks for any help
