    My birthday dinner

    Been working on my chicken. Also tried a new recipe I saw on Diners, Dives and Drive-ins. Fried cabbage, onions, bacon, all mixed in with egg noddles. Really good! I will be doing it again. Chicken turned out good, too!

    I just did a marketing sample of our pinto bean seasoning, and packaged it in 2.5 oz plastic jars. I mailed them in bubble envelopes (padded manila envelopes). Sent samples all over the county, and there were no problems. I, like some of the others, keep my spices in the freezer.

    butcher bbq injection

    Anyone have any experience with this? I plan to inject my brisket tonight with this, mixed with chicken broth, garlic powder and my rub, run through a coffee grinder. Any hints or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Just make sure when you inject it, that you get your mixture throughout the entire piece of meat. To much is better than to little.
