    Cabinet Temp. Probe Question !

    I have in the past calibrated my temp probe on the smoker cabinet to be pretty close to my ET 73 readings.....lately it is starting to fluctuate from a good reading or a match with the ET 73... My question is....has anyone found that the build up of grease and whatever on the probe is effecting...

    While you're at it...I would recommend making this simple little mod. to the case also for access to the switches on the transmitter....well worth the few minutes it took to do !!! RICK

    Have'nt seen the farthest it will go yet, but I do know that it will work from the farthest part of my back yard thru my house...that is approx. 125'....and that is just with the receiver mod.....I imagine if you also did the mod to the transmitter it would probably go a block or two.....didn't...

    J tried ordering a Senty Control and unfortionately they have bee discontinued I tried ordering a Sentry control and unfortunately it seems they have been discontinued....I looked at several places including Bayou Classics and it showed the same thing...guess that is the end of that project...
