Well i used it for the first time yesterday without a pan and it worked very good!! i think i should have put a little more lit charcoal in it to get it goin i only put a small half of a chimmney but it held great and the chicken turned out awesome!!! think i will forget the pan dont need it.
i just built my first UdS and am going to try it out today. My question is do i need to use a waterpan or not which is better? thanks so much in advance!
Hi i just got my 1st uds built and have seen before a great method for starting up a uds. By this i mean how many coals were lit then at a certain degree put vent caps on then this temp close valve so far or something like this but can't find it now when i need it, can someone help me out thanks...

Hello to all I am going to be doing my first cookoff in a couple weeks I don't think is is kcbs rules if that matters and chicken Is a choice. My question is does it matter how you serve it up? Like pulled or is that not good and what cuts do most everyone use? Thanks for ny and all help!!!

we use the dutchs all the time i have the aluminum ones there just lighter for all the traveling.
Hi guys there was a jambalaya recipe someone posted quite awhile back there were alot of pics and they pretty much did it all in an electric skillet. I done searches and can't find anything can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks so much!!
As for a trailer i have been looking at jet ski trailers i'm thinking they would work great for a build like this? at least thats what i'm gonna try on my next build. Just my .2 cents worth. Looks great so far!!
