I have used different rubs and they all gave good results but I have switched to using only Salt and Pepper on my Briskets. I have found this gives me the best results and my family likes it much better. Lets the Beef flavor shine.
So my vote is just salt and pepper.

I had a Chuck Roast in the freezer so I decided to put it into the SV and let it go for a while. I put Salt, Pepper and Garlic powder on it and into a bag. This went for 18 hours and was fall apart delicious! once done I seared it on the Chimney (like a rocket stove, sears fast)
Came out great...
We see them often and always try to move them. It's the snapping turtles that make it difficult. His head shot out so far it is crazy. Almost got me one time.
Thanks for the great instructions. I have always wanted to make cheese and after reading through this I may just give this a try when I have a weekend to do so.
Thanks

Found this little guy trying to cross the road by in front of the house. Man was he pissed when I moved him into the grass and off the road. Looks like he is smiling but he just got done attacking the shovel.
Hard to tell but he is a 14" long and 10" wide (at least)
Why yes it is (good eye). My wife has lots of plants it is just starting to stay warm enough here to move them outside so they are all over the house.
I forgot the actual name of this Bay plant, I will get it tonight but you are correct it is pretty bushy and says it is a slow grower.
I have wanted a Bay plant for a bit and after seeing your post told my wife I wanted one. Well today she brought home thiis for me.
I think I will keep her around.

It was a bit chilly on Saturday so I decided to make some sausage and my wife like kielbasa so guess what I made.
I made 15 lbs and it came out really good. I used a mix I got from Cabela's.
Pic 1 is the shoulder all sliced up and ready to chill for and hour or so.
Pic 2 is the shoulder all...
