The verdict is in and we have a winner. Folks enjoyed the ribs. IMHO, the racks were a little tough, but the country-style ribs were great. The smoker got a workout this weekend and so did the cook. Now that my belly is full its time to clean the smoker and go hit the hay.
First, awesome job scrollman3. Your butts really kicked butt!
Second, this forum is the best thing on the net. I love that everyone pitches in and helps you along the way and I love to see what everyone has in their smoker. Truly inspirational! Have a great 4th!
Blackhawk,
I'm smoking these for a friend that just moved. He bought the meat, but I have three racks of pork ribs and then four packages of country-style ribs. Last night I smothered them with yellow mustard and used Jeff's rub . I'm using the 3-2-1 method to cook them. I have been spraying...
The ribs went on at 10:00 this morning. Here is a pic of them before going in with mustard and Jeff's rub. I also took a pic of them before I wrapped them in foil (3-2-1), but the camera was fuzzy. More pics to come...

Wait, I think I have a use for it. I bet the bottom of the cart would fit ABTs just fine. And if your rack of ribs was long enough, you could slide them through the sides. I think this has potential....
gypsyseagod did the same thing I did when I read Ron's post, AHHHHHH, check the fridge!!! I have a mountain of ribs smoking tomorrow that someone else bought!
Ron, sounds like you will make a full recovery with all of the grub. Have a great fourth!!!
Thanks Cowboy. It was very good...
Debi,
Yeah, I read about doing salad dressing with Jeff's sauce on one of your other posts. It will be trying that. I agree with you that I like a more tomato base. Couple people said they like my other sauce I make better. But, still it was very tasty...
Here is this weekend's smoking. Did three chickens, one pork loin, one fatty, and dozen ABTs. I used Jeff's rub and sauce and they were some kinda yummy. The rub was excellent on everything. And this was my first time doing ABTs and a Fatty. I will be doing them on every smoke from now on!!!
I...
