I've done a handful of smoking other meats but doing a brisket has got me the most excited as it is my favorite. On this 3lber I did a light seasoning of SPG then my own rub and then a light coat of Montreal Steak. Looks pretty already. I will post a finished picture too.
I would agree on adding more rub. Idk if you did or not but after I get all my pork pulled, ill sprinkle more rub on the meat and mix it all up. I've never done it but you could also not wrap it the next time.
Had some leftover pulled pork and decided to make nachos. I also saw some chicken wings on sale and picked them up. Very happy with how the wings turned out. Not crispy but the skin wasn't really rubbery either.
