    I know its not needed but read it has its benifet. all I can say is wow. after getting comfy with the vents this thing holds heat great! I've been at 228 for an easy half hour. BTW its the 18.5.

    here it is be side my ketel! I'm already in love lol. I plan on doing a breakfast fatty Saturday late afternoon for Sunday morning. Sunday morning a pork loin will go in there.

    What lighter fluid do you use?

    hmm good idea on just lighting the edge and no chimney. I may just give a try in the a.m. on my ham by lighting just a corner of my fire tray.
