    i did it all on the ecb. the shrooms went on last. they were stuffed with panko bread crumbs, garlic, celery ,mushroom stems and italian seasoning. topped with shredded mont. jack. on the smoker over hickory for 1 hour. probably could have stayed on longer....but no complaints inside the house!

    nope..but in the UNLABELED (my fault) freezer bag it was wrapped up and i couldnt see it! i have to say i was planning on brisket but it all turned out ok in the end!

    so i got the bright idea to thaw out a brisket and smoke it this wknd. i pulled it from the freezer on tuesday so i could smoke overnight friday/saturday bad weather made me wait till sat. so i open the bag from the freezer and SURPRISE its pork. oh well guess ill smoke that also cornbread in...

    looking for a new smoker...just because..any pros or cons on either the brinkmann ,the chargriller or the char-broil silver smoker? i am not sure which one to get and i was just looking for a little guidance..are they all pretty much the same? thanks in advance guys

    i think i have an update on that original charcoal. tried emailing them...no response tried calling the phone #s on their site ...no longer in service.. i would take that to mean they are maybe out of business?

    when i use wood chunks do i wrap them in foil first or just put them right on the coals?

    yes sir... i even went out to look at the transmitter to make sure.( kind of defeats the purpose of REMOTE but i was excited) the smoker temp was pretty constant and i didnt open the door until the temp started moving. no peeking at all
