RIP to my 1 year old MES 30. Decided to smoke a butt today but it went exactly opposite of how it should. Long story short, every row of pellets caught on fire, and when I try to pull the amzn out my grease catch pan caught on fire...all down hill from there.

They don’t get that big in my neck of the woods. Nc woods deer. 120lb doe is the biggest I’ve ever killed. This one went about 80. But, I let plenty walk too. Im not a brown it’s down guy

Aaah it was ok. My thermo wasn’t in the right spot so when i thought it was the bright temp for pulled pork it was actually about 15 degrees shy. The sauce really picked it up but it surely wasn’t tender

My butt never/hasn’t stalled as of yet, but I’m sitting about 10 degrees from where I’d like so i bumped up the heat to hurry things along. I whipped up some of (spelling may be wrong) soflaquers finishing sauce. It’s good stuff!
