HELP ME! ---- NEED ADVICE/INPUT (PICTURES INCLUDED! haha since I know everyone loves pictures)

I would start with the smaller because it's a lot easier to make it bigger.  What is the size of the fire box to chamber opening?  It looks small from what I think I see.

Reverse flow build, just getting started

First of all what a build!  Workmanship is outstanding.  On the pits on the exterior, I had the same problem and just could not see away to clean it up.  I sand blasted it and painted it with Black Stain Heat paint and it really looked neat.  The sand blasting smooth the pits and it look good to...

    Bubba's Fat Boy

Diameter vs Length?   I am not sure what he means.  When I build a smoker make sure I follow the BBQ Template.  This ensures the temperature stays constant and the TBS moves properly over the meat and out of the smoking chamber. Saying this as long as the fire box is at the required size so...

    Size for new smoker

I would see if you could find someone close to you that builds smokers as a hobby.  These builders seem to be cheaper and you will get one that will last for ever if you keep care of it.  Good luck!

    Fire Box ( how thick 1/4" or 3/16 " )

3/16 will not warp,, but as alway 1/4 will hold the heat a little better, I live in florida and our winders are not an issue and I use 3/16". Good luck on your build and let us see some pictures too.

Thanksgiving Smoke Using New Fire Box

Had to replace my fire box and completed the project on Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving.  So I figure I would try it on a few baby back, pork butt, and chuck roast.  This time I only used Everglades on the roast and soaked the ribs and butt in Coke Cola and it was great, if I must say so...
