Looking great so far. Sounds like a great spread. Finishing up with the brownies is a great call. I’m thinking peanut butter brownies might be just the thing to finish up my brisket centered spread. Thanks for the inspiration.

I actually have found that you can get super fast shredding results by using a Kitchen Aid type stand mixer with the paddle attachment. If the pork is well done to that shred able state then it only takes about 30 seconds to get three or four pounds of meat ready for a foil pan.

The instant pot is also a great cooker for just tender meat. You may actually know 9 people that have one or you can easily cook one of those butts in an instant pot in 90 minutes to 2 hours each. Any combination of oven/instant pot would be your best bet. For those that can't handle the flavor...
Thank God it doesn't snow here where I live in So Cal. I love looking at pictures that other people send but I have never once lived in it or wished anything like that would happen near me. You guys are welcome to all of that extreme weather.

I'm doing a brisket and I am pretty sure that I am going to do up some pig shots. Then there will be chips + dip, homemade mac n cheese, probably some deviled eggs and or potato salad. There will be lots of leftovers for several awesome meals from that spread. Plus, I am planning on making burnt...
I got mine on Amazon. The thing is awesome on my kettle. I love making chicken with it. One thing to think about though is how hot it is that can be brutal on your grates. I’m going to get the gourmet grill grates so I can take out the center and keep it from melting the grate.

I was actually looking at those on the website. I love pecan and have never used peach wood. I have to admit I am intrigued. I’m planning a trip out to bass pro on Friday. I will take a look then. Thanks for the heads up.

I know I have posed a similar question in the past but I am ready to buy an Amazen smoking tube. I want to use it primarily in my Weber kettle for a low hassle smoke source. I really want to experiment with different wood types and this seems like a pretty economical way to go. Can I get some...
You all have some great ideas. It’s just me and Kenna so I can’t get too crazy with tons of food but those moinks are sounding awesome right now. Maybe I could do those on some different day. Cream cheese and jalapeño stuffed chicken thighs could be another good option for variety but I’m just...
So pig shots definitely got my attention. I made this once and recall how great they were. Can I get a few suggestions for your favorite versions? I have lots of smoked sausage already and believe I even have the bacon. I just need to decide what to stuff them with. Keep the suggestions coming...
So I’m looking for suggestions for my gameday smoke. I already have a brisket that I will be making for the big game. Can I get some suggestions for things to go with it? One thing that is highly likely will be my wife’s homemade mac n cheese. I’m eager to get this planned. Looking forward to a...
So the chuck roast came out wonderful. Very much like brisket flat. Thanks for the temp advice Chili you were spot on. I threw in the shot of the full surf and turf platter. Smoked chuck, beer battered shrimp, crab poppers, and curly fries. Not super healthy but man that was delicious.
