I can bookmark new posts, but when I come back later, the bookmark returns to the same place, not at the top of the latest posts. Otherwise. the system seems to work well. Good job guys.
I received my TP-20 a few days ago and have used it three times now. I am very pleased with it. My smoker is approximately 25 feet from my desk and it has never lost signal. My Mav 732 will not work at the same location. I could not be more pleased with the product.

sounds like a Weber Kettle 22.5" is what you are looking for. It is not uncommon for them to last 20+ years. I got mine off Craig's List for a song. It is in it's 11 season and shows no sign of wear or rust. There is not much you can't do with it. I added a rotisserie ring to it and love...

Oak makes a very good fuel for smoking. I use red oak because I have a big supply of it and at no cost.

wishing her the best.

Do you have any options about taking it back? Apparently, it may be defective. Also, are you going by the built in thermometer? They are notorious for being wrong.
Good luck

I leave the lid on and NEVER soak the wood. Wet wood will not smoke until it gets dry delaying the smoking process. I don't know where the theory of soaking wood came from.
good luck

I have the bigger Landman gasser and use chunks all the time. The chunks definately last longer than chips. I usually put 2-4 chunks to start with and add more if needed later.
Enjoy your new smoker and welcome to the addiction.
