    I have a MES 40 that the controller went out on. I replaced it with a Auburn PID. It works great. Temps or +/- 1degree. It cost about $150. A little spendy but worth it as far as I’m concerned I don’t believe you will go wrong with it

    It should have vent on top or if it’s a gen 2 modal it may be on the left on the side That should be all the vent u need as far as the chip loader goes probably need to leave it in other wise if u use an Amnps tray the pellets may burn to fast.     I would get the tube. On my pellet popper I put the tub on the left back corner because it’s as far from the smoke stack as I can get. That the smoke has to pass over the entire grill before it goes out the stack. Or at least that’s what I tell myself anyway

    Yeah this is blizzard for us. Road shut down dew to icing over all schools and local government shut down. Business ether closed or starting latter in the day. Yeah we are pretty much shut down for the next couple of days.
