Pit Boss water pan liners for 3 series electric smoker

Thank Elf. That was my next option if finding the factory ones didn't pan out. I had checked the local Dollar Tree the other day. I never even considered walmart for some reason.

Newbie, Questions about Pit Boss Blue Blazing Series 3 Analog Smoker

Yes, that is completely normal behavior for the Pit Boss PBV3A1. On this analog electric smoker model, the blue indicator light on the control knob is directly tied to the internal thermostat and heating element: Blue Light ON: The heating element is actively receiving power and heating up...

    Storing pellets

Thanks guys. I think just a good container will work fine. Wisconsin so, yah, more humidity than I would like in the Summer, but I think just keeping it out of the weather will be good, air tight or not. I have always stored my wood chips open.

    Storing pellets

But do they truly seal up air tight? I was thinking about something like that as well, but they are clearly not air tight. I am hoping that keeping the bugs and critters out is all you really need. The bags they are sold in are not really air tight either, especially after they get thrown...

    Storing pellets

Hi, I have a question about storing pellets? Is it necessary to store them in a sealed container or is just an open back/bucket OK? They will be kept in the garage, so, no worries about rain or anything.

Salmon on Outers Hickory Smoker advice needed

Yah, the Outers was made in a town about 25 miles from where I grew up in the 60s and 70s. But the parts are all permanently fastened in/on it. Could be one reason the Chief won the clone war.

Salmon on Outers Hickory Smoker advice needed

If I could find a good used Big Chief on FB MP or CL, for a decent price, I would jump on it. I am working on a grabbing a Masterbuilt right now.

What are people's thoughts on this Masterbuilt smoker. It was barely used...still has the protective film on the digital display. Seller said SHE won it in a drawing. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/989310940873464

Electric smoker recommendations (maybe open to pellet)

Thanks, Guys. I am thinking about this idea. I just don't want to lay out that kind of money right now. I am thinking I will go with a used Big Chief and see how it goes and maybe upgrade down the road. On the Masterbuilt, is the version with the glass doors a good idea or no?

Electric smoker recommendations (maybe open to pellet)

I picked up an Outers Hickory electric smoker (basically a clone of the Little Chief Smoker) for $20 last week and did my first fish smoking on it. It came out superb. I plan to it more and more often. However, I love to do beef Jerky as well, but have always done it in a dehydrator with...

New guy from S. Central Wisconsin

Thanks. I put some cherry wood chips in the smoker when I tested it out. I plugged it and made sure it was heating up and then went inside for 7-8 minutes. I came back out and it was already rolling smoke. I am starting to think this simple little smoker is going to work great for me. I...
