Love my Pit Boss. Only thing as I'm sure you know and probably already have is a thermometer not from the grill unit. I have two different inkbird thermometers. One four probe wired and one four probe wireless.

Not sure about the Bluetooth version but I have the wifi inkbird. No problems sitting 10 get away from the base just inside the garage. I prefer wifi as I'm the only person in the house that drives so if I'm out I can still see the temp.
I have an Inkbird and it has been 100% reliable for about 4 years. I have bad hearing and the temps alarms on the Inkbird are too low for me to hear. Also programming the temps on the Inkbird sucks.

Tried an inkbird and it stopped charging after about four uses. Was a few weeks past warranty and would only give a discount on same model. No thanks. Have had zero issues with my thermoworks signals. Also have their rfx which has one probe that only lasts two hours but they will replace it...
I am also in the @Inkbird camp. Got one for my BIL for Christmas/ his birthday. He loves it. I don't have time for one, wish I did. Inkbird usually has some great deals too.
