I have an Inkbird rechargeable spice grinders that's worked quite well for over a year now. And it was reasonably priced. I'll try to look it up and share when I get a minute.
...sure its possible, just haven't personally had any issues. And honestly, I'd deal with some connectivity issues if it meant I got accurate temps (my biggest complaint with Inkbird). Nothing like ruining a chunk of beef by overcooking it by 5 or so degrees because of a poorly calibrated temp...
Thank you so much for your suggestion—😊 that really does sound like a great idea!
By the way, would you be interested in trying out our sous-vide cooker? If that interests you, we would love to hear about your experience and feedback.
Yeah I think I need to put the other two in there also and see what they are reading.
One probe 268° ambient 157° internal
Other 228° ( without the extra 12°) 143° internal
The likelihood is a bad probe especially if you tested the other two and they read the same as the first.
Only advice is contact Inkbird about a replacement.

Unfortunately my 4-probe Inkbird thermometer base no longer charges up. It's lasted many years and has been great, but I was gifted a single Meater probe and that thing is amazing.... just painful for the wallet. Looking to hear what your personal experience has been with Inkbird Wireless...
...level, (pasteurize), then you close the vent almost all the way?
Getting ready to head to the store for a roast to grind up. My 4 probe inkbird (unfortunately purchased at the non-sale-price) just showed up. Looks nice and seems easy to set up. Will be wireless on tomorrow's cook...
Hey guys. I have a MES 30 cabinet that I modified with an Inkbird PID and different burner and use the mailbox mod for smoke. The only issue I am having is the when hanging summer sausage or snack sticks the bottom (closer to burner) is cooking faster than the top. I tried a fan to even out...
For instant reads I like thermoworks. My inkbird IBBQ-4T has amazing battery life between charges. I've forgotten to turn it off a few times. Then get a notification 2-3 days later on phone the battery is getting low.
Like @Steve H , mentioned. You might need a couple as to what ever you are into at the time.
Can't go wrong like you said with Thermoworks and Inkbird is also good, different products from each for different applications.

I think I have 5 for my square dot, and I bought several short ones for that reason. But wanted the wireless probes and got an Inkbird 4 probe wireless. They're great, but they are huge compared to the wired probes. I could probably use them without going in full depth since ss cook at a max of...
My IBT-6X list 32°F in its specs.
This other Inkbird list way lower. [EDIT] Ordered, review to follow. :emoji_wink:

Thinking this may be the way. We are in single digits this week at night and no way this IBT-6X is going to swing this. Anniversary is this weekend and...
Another thing to maybe check Brian, did that probe get accidentally knocked over a bit towards the sidewall (should be straight up and down, could try bend to inside slightly )? The heated metal close to the probe would tend to mess with temps slightly. Just a thought
What units work in sub freezing weather? I like my Inkbird but 18 as a high this weekend and it will shutoff in that weather. Most list the fire box working temps and not the electronics working temps. I was going to mix deer and pork for lunch meat for the year and Canada is sending its weather...
