Recteq Beast 1000, high heat test.

I tried to see how hot my Yoder would get without the baffle plate in. It melted the glue on the door gaskets and they all fell off. Live and learn.

    Outdoor Kitchen Cabinet Base

You need to read the specs and requirements in the manuals. Each item will have different requirements. Adding a insulation blanket is a typical option. When I built mine, I debated and decided not to chance it. I used metal studs with durarock facing. Had granite counters and rock finish.

Reacquainting with a long lost friend - my Lang

Beef prices are high but not much I can do about it. Not sure what the prime were priced at since didnt have any this trip. This one has really nice marbling so not too worried about it. I tend to cook between 235 and 300, depending on what is on the menu. I don’t do overnight smokes. Think...

    Orbital Sanders

Time is money. Have you looked at just buying new doors ready to paint and hardware and only paint the frames/bases? I hate to paint though and would hate to do all that sanding even more.

    Meat slicer recommendations

Very nice. I just checked my front step, but there was nothing there. End up with the 10" Vevor? Can you fit a 12" wide piece of belly on it? I am going to buy a slicer in near future, but Hawaii trip, multiple insurance bills, changing jobs and golf trip are all within a couple of months of...

    RecTeq questions

My dad has a 20 yo Traeger that quit working. He is 85 and doesn't own a cell phone. Finding gifts for him is hard so thought to buy him a new smoker for FD coming up. Can the RecTeq Patio Legend 600 be ran without the app? Any other pellet smoker recs for around the same price range? Planning...
