Got a whole turkey I’m smoking.
Only been on an hour and 20 min, temp is already at 115.
This seem ok?
Grill temp has been steady at 225, it’s a side smoker barrel style grill.
Weber bluetooth thermometer probe, battery is good.
Thoughts ?

I’m smoking an 11lb turkey. Grill Temp has been steady at 225 for the most part. My internal temp of the turkey is reading at 110 already...does that seem too high too fast? I got the turkey in at 225 at 730am and it’s 845 now,CST
I’m dug in for a 10-11ish hour smoke by all accounts, right...
yea it was just some phone pics. I bet if you download them and zoom in some you can get a little better look , but the resolution wont hold up onc3e too zoomed in , haha

there was almost no resistance, and it did fall apart the more slices I made, but I wasn't sure it was quite ready for pulling bc the bone dint want to just come out-- it was wiggly though.
I think it came out pretty awesome. Super tender, butter smooth slicing. Took it out at about 195 and rested it for about 40 min (we couldn’t wait any longer),
Grilled since I was a teenager, but an old neighbor of mine moved away and left me their smoker so I’ve been giving it a go.
